The 15-year-old multi-event swimmer, from Killamarsh, is a student at Eckington School and a member of the City of Sheffield Swim Squad, claiming first place in the 200IM at the National Championship, along with a string of other podium places in other races.
Amy says: "I train nine times per week, with double sessions on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and single sessions Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
"In addition to this, I do four land work sessions after swimming, consisting of one circuit training session, two with med ball and stretch cords and one body weight. I have just started (October 2015) hard training in the last couple of weeks ready for the season ahead.
"This season my goals are to swim well at the Olympic Trials in Glasgow in April. From this, I am hoping to make the European Junior Championships in Hungary in July. Finally, I want to have some good swims at the British Summer Championships in July and August to end the season on a high.
"My long term aim is to carry on improving, and to represent team Great Britain at international senior level, while still representing the City of Sheffield Swim Squad where I have been since I was eight years old."
