He has been coaching with the club for a year, and can spend between 20 and 30 hours a week volunteering during half term.
He said: “I enjoy volunteering at Derby because I like football and watching and teaching young children to play sport.”
Jordan also volunteers at school, helping with sport days for younger pupils, and has recently become a member of the Leadership Academy.
Fellow Alfreton Grange Arts College pupils Hannah Gaunt and Emma Coleman also volunteer at school and community sport events.
Their roles usually involve helping to set up events and running activities, usually in a group setting with other friends from school.
Hannah said: “I enjoy taking part in sport and helping people and showing them what to do.”
Emma added: “I volunteer because it gives me confidence working with children, watching them having a great time and knowing that you are helping towards that. It's also a good opportunity to meet other volunteers with the same interests. Plus it looks great on your c.v.”
