The 14-year-old tennis player, from Ashbourne and a member of the Church Broughton Tennis Club, claimed a doubles gold medal and singles silver at the National finals, has represented GB in internationals and attended training camps at the National Tennis Centre in London.
Victoria says: "After taking my GCSE exams, I was lucky enough to be offered some training in the U.S, so flew out for three weeks.
"On my return, I played as a member of the Nottingham 18and under girls' team at the finals of the Aegon Team Tennis at Roehampton, where we finished runners-up.
"Immediately following, I was selected to represent Great Britain in the European Youth Olympic Festival in Tbilisi, Georgia. This was a fantastic experience as I was part of a 50 strong squad including swimmers, gymnasts, other athletes all travelling and staying with athletes from other European countries in the Athletes Village.
"The team was led by Olympian Heather Fell and Gold Medal Winner David Hemery. The tennis squad consisted of four tennis players – two boys and two girls – led by Iain Bates.
"Nationals were next, where I competed in the both the 14 and under and 16 and under age groups. I reached the second round in 16s and was finalist in my age group. Along with my doubles partner, I won the 14 and under doubles.
"Since then, I have played in an ITF in Sweden and reached the quarter finals of the British Tour in Wrexham, losing closely to the number one seed. I recently won my first women's grade three in Exeter and have reduced my rating to 3.1.
"I continue to train full time at Nottingham Performance Academy while studying for my next set of exams. I plan to concentrate on playing older age groups, especially British Tour and ITFs.
"I was due to go to South Africa recently but unfortunately, due to a rapid growth spurt and 'growing pains', I been advised not to compete until this has settled. My goals this season are to continue to compete at international level and improve my age-group ranking.
"My ambition, as always, is to become a successful professional tennis player competing at world class level in the top 100, ultimately winning Wimbledon and/or another grand slam!"
