Tiara is a 19-year-old badminton player from Derby who is on the Derbyshire Performance Centre squad and a member of the Debryshire Institute of Sport programme. She was a bronze medallist in Women's Doubles at the Under-19 English National Badminton Championships.

Tiara says: "I currently live in Nottingham, whilst studying for a Law degree at The University of Nottingham. I am training eight times a week with the university which includes both on-court sessions and strength and conditioning.

"In addition, I am supported by the Derbyshire Institute of Sport and I am a member of the Derbyshire County Senior Squad's first team.

"My season goals include, being on the podium at each domestic tournament that I play in, and reaching the semi-final stages at British University and College Sport (BUCS) individual badminton tournament.

"This season, I will also be a member of The University of Nottingham Badminton team in the National Badminton League (NBL); this will be my third consecutive season as a player in the league."
