The Athletes
The Derbyshire Talented Athlete Fund was officially launched at Derbyshire County Cricket Club on December 11, 2007, and 60 recipients have now been announced.
This included sports performers from Chesterfield, Amber Valley, Derby City, Derbyshire Dales, South Derbyshire, Erewash, North East Derbyshire, Bolsover, and High Peak.
They compete in a range of sports such as athletics, archery, basketball, boxing, cricket, cycling, canoeing, golf, squash, swimming, table tennis, trampolining and triathlon.
