Craig Young - Golf
Started the year well by winning the Derbyshire Boys Spring meeting at Horsley Lodge shooting a round of 71.
Took part in three national boys competitions. (Fairhaven Trophy, Mc Gregor Trophy and the Northern Boys)
Played regularly for the Derby men’s 1st and 2nd Team.
Also won for the 2nd year running the Derbyshire U18 Boys order of merit.
Took part in the Derbyshire Mens Amateur Championship succeeded in getting through to the match play final.
Won the Junior Captains cup and also the Ashbourne Junior Open best gross.
Have left school and joined Burton College doing a National Sports Diploma, and also started at the Golf Academy at Branston Golf and Country Club, which I am thoughly enjoying.
Have once again had a good year and looking forward to next year.
