Sports awards

Celebrating a year of sporting achievement - Friday 13 November 2009 - Pride Park Stadium, Derby.

This year is the 4th annual Derbyshire Sports Awards. The awards provide a way of recognising and, above all, celebrating the successes of our local athletes and people involved in sport in this county.

Awards will be given to people from all areas of sport, from community heroes who have provided a service to sport for more than five years to top sports stars from the county.

Nominations for the awards are now closed. Entries are in. Judging is taking place. We wish all our nominees the very best of luck.
