Derby Junior 4* Tournament
The Derby Junior 4* will be held at Moorways on this coming Saturday and Sunday
The team from Sweden start strongly on Saturday with Hampus Soderlund seeded no1 at Under 11 and no2 at Under 13. Local interest centres on Mark Naylor who is seeded 6 at Under 13 and Emma Vickers the second seed in the Under 15 event.
On Sunday Adam Frost is seeded 8 in the junior boys and the Long Eaton/Draycott club is well represented with Michael Whitaker, David Arrowsmith and Tim Mitchell.
In the junior girls Emma is fourth seed and Emily O'Sullivan is at No10.
ETTA Chairman Alex Murdoch will be there on Sunday and the City Mayor is attending on Sunday afternoon. Play starts at 08:30 on both days on 22 tables and with the best juniors in England are players from Ireland, Wales and Sweden.
