RYA East Midlands Powerboat Update

This is a one day event that will allow exsisting RYA Powerboat Instructors, and RYA Centre Principals to update their own personal skills, and catch up with the developments in the Powerboat scheme. It will also be a great chance to meet other Centre Principals and discuss methods of good practise regarding safetyboat techniques.
There will be a variety of boats to try with at least three good sized RIBS, a fleet of Jeanneau Newmatic safetyboats, and hopefully a few others to try.
The aim of the day is to let people try different boats to the ones they usually use, to gain extra experience. With three RYA Powerboat Trainers on hand to discuss the handling of the larger boats, you should also get some top tips!
The day will also be a great opportunity for clubs and centres that are considering the purchase of new powerboats. A representative from Jeanneau will be present to discuss the various options from that company, and you can also try the Jeanneau on the water. You can also look at the other boats to see what boats are currently on the market.
The cost of the update will be £25.00, which will help us cover the cost of the boats, fuel, and also for our BBQ at dinner. (It’s never too cold!) If you would like to book a space please fill in the form below and return to the centre with a cheque made payable to CSL Ltd. Places are limited as we want to ensure people get a good chance to spend some time on the boats.
We will send confirmation of details closer to the time with a plan of the day and directions to the centre.
