Derby County Ladies Soccer Tournament for Girls February 2004
The County’s biggest girls and women’s football club is organizing a girls football competition for players in years 5/6. It is a six a side (max of 8 in squad) tournament run by Derby County Ladies F C , Derby County Football in the Community Scheme and supported by Derby City Council.
We are holding the tournament on Thursday 24th February 2005 at the JJB Soccerdome, next to Pride Park Stadium, Derby, commencing at approx 12.00pm.
The tournament is open to school teams. If there is a large interest from the girls at each school, it may be appropriate to enter more than one team. Participating girls must currently be in years 5/6.
If schools are unable to raise a team, it may be possible to contact a neighbouring school and see if you could combine players to form a squad.
A full set of rules and the competition format will be sent to all participating teams before Tuesday 22th February 2005 .
