Pro Cricket Coaching Academy
Pro Cricket Coaching Academy was founded in September 2006 by Chris Taylor (Derbyshire and Yorkshire CCC). The ambition was to provide cricket coaching by current and ex Professional Cricketers for Juniors and Seniors alike in Derbyshire and across the UK.
The main focus of the cricket coaching has concentrated on Junior cricketers, in particular the Juniors who havent been selected for County or District sides, or young cricketers who are striving to make these sides. Chris's idea stemmed from his belief that too many young, talented cricketers are not given the opportunity to further their game following representative side rejection. He believes there are hundreds of children out there who need a stepping stone back into the game between the ages of 7 and 17 and the Pro Cricket Coaching Academy courses are aimed at providing this.
