Derbyshire have a great day at the Boccia Youth Games
East Midlands Regional Boccia Youth Games

For the second year in succession Derbyshire entered this Competition
along with teams from Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
This year we were able to enter teams for both of the competition groups
covering 10 - 16 year olds and 17-26 year olds and a great day was had
by the players, their managers and supporters.
Both teams played extremely well, competed strongly and challenged for
honors with the Level 2 side being joint winners of their group.
In addition to the competition several contacts were made which will
help us provide a more extensive infrastructure for the development of
Boccia in the county.
