Wanted! Interim Chair's for Regions - England Athletics

NOMINEES FOR INTERIM CHAIRS FOR THE NINE ENGLAND REGIONS

Since January, Jack Buckner and I have indicated that we would be selecting Interim Regional Chairpersons for the ‘set-up’ phase of England Athletics.

We have already received several suggestions and these people are already being considered, but now is the time to call formally for nominations for these Key Leadership roles.

The Interim Regional Chairs will work with the members and volunteers to set up the initial councils in each region. They will also play a key part in the selection process for the new Regional Managers. In mid-2006 it is anticipated that all Regional Chairs will be selected by the members. (The Interim Chairs may of course choose to stand for election.)

Successful candidates must be able to show a successful track record of having taken a leadership role in mobilising the resources of a region for the benefit of sport or a community body.
