Over the First Hurdle
South Derbyshire Sport has introduced financial assistance for athletes who perform at a high level. Participants who live in South Derbyshire who perform at county level are entilted to a sports pass which entitles them to free use of facilities to assist their training needs. Performers at a higher level will be awarded some financial assistance.
To acknowledge the high achievers, South Derbyshire Sport are holding an awards ceremony on 29 June at Sharpe's in Swadlincote.
