Strategic Sports Group

STRATEGIC SPORTS GROUP

The Strategic Sports Group was formed in December 2003 to facilitate and actively support the development and delivery of quality sports services to schools, voluntary sports groups and the general public in South Derbyshire. The group aims to increase participation and opportunities in sport and physical activity, and to promote physical health and social inclusion to all communities. So far the Group has proved very successful and a number of projects are underway.

Future meetings will be focused on developing a Vision for the Group and a Strategic Delivery Action Plan.
