English Alpine GS Champion!!

Sega Fairweather (who trains at Swadlincote Ski Centre)
has returned home from the 8th English Alpine championships, held in Puy St Vincent, France, having taken the giant slalom championship title. An icy course of 2 runs didn't phase the 13 year old who skied a superb race.

The following day (Friday) witnessed an icy course obscured at intervals by the mountain mist, making for a difficult super G competition. 41 female racers completed the course - Sega taking silver position by just .3 of a second.
