Description of facilities

Following the completion of the £5million development in 2003, Chapel Leisure Centre offers state-of-the-art facilities in a friendly intimate atmosphere. Whatever your interests we can offer you an excellent leisure experience.

Facilities Include:

expressions Fitness Studio
Fitted with the state-of-art fitness equipment our studio offers a surround sound stereo system, temperature controlled air conditioning and large plasma televisions. In addition, it is staffed with experienced fitness professionals who will cater for your every need. We provide the incredible expressions membership just see below.

expressions Aerobics & Spinning Studio
Fitted with a built-in music system, air conditioning and extensive mirrors our exercise studio caters for an extensive range of Fitness Classes, from TKO to Spinning to Yoga we have something for everyone.

Sports Hall
Our 4 Badminton court, fully air-conditioned Sports Hall can cater for Basketball, Football, table tennis, Netball and so much more. It is also available for hire for special events and shows.

All-Weather Pitch
Our floodlit Astroturf all-weather pitch is ideal for 6-a-side football. We offer an extensive football league, which attracts teams from all around the area. The floodlit Astroturf all-weather pitch can also be used for hockey.

Outdoor Pitches

Our outdoor pitches are available to local teams of all ages, for training purposes and match days. Chapel Leisure Centre sponsors this Chapel Junior Football Team, pictured right with Neil Hicks, Contract Manager. 

 

Café & Bar
We can provide an extensive menu range in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

Tennis Court
We have 4 Tennis courts that can be used daily, we also have a Chapel Community Tennis Club based at the Leisure Centre.

Pay and Play
You do not have to be a member to enjoy the facilities. You can use the gym and the sports hall on a pay as you go basis.

expressions Membership
If you are a regular user of the gym and/or aerobic classes, you can take advantage of our “expressions” membership options. There are no joining fees or contracts, just a monthly direct debit payment, which could save you pounds.
