Step into Sport 2005 - Derbyshire Dales
Step into Sport is an exciting national programme managed by the Youth Sport Trust, Sport England and Sports Leaders UK delivered locally through County Sports Partnerships (Derbyshire Sport) and School Sport Partnerships (Derbyshire Dales Partnership, Derby City East Partnership, Derby City West Partnership).
If you are aged 16-19 and live within either of the School Sport Partnership areas mentioned above and have already taken some basic sports leadership awards (Level 1 award in Community Sports Leadership) this programme could be for you.
What is involved??
- commit to undertake 50, 100 or 200 hours of volunteering in a local sports club or organisation
- full support from a volunteer co-ordinator between April 2005 - April 2006
- attendance at the Step into Sport Conferences
- further develop your NGB qualifications
