Brampton Rovers AFC achieve Charter Standard
Brampton Rovers AFC in Chesterfield have been awarded the Charter Standard Award by the Football Association in recognition of the professionalism of the club and it’s members.
The Charter Standard Scheme is a best practice guide, produced by the F.A., that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.
Chesterfield Football Club awarded the Charter Standard Plaque to Brampton Rovers representatives on the pitch before the home game against SwindonTown on December 28th 2005.
The club has been established since 1966 and prides itself in it’s history expanding from one team to twelve, in age groups ranging from Under 7’s to Under 16’s, incorporating an Under 13’s Girls team and a Saturday Morning Club for youngsters wishing to enjoy a kick about with some professional coaching by the club’s F.A. qualified coaches.
A spokesman at the club said “We are pleased to have achieved the high standards required to be awarded the Charter Standard by the Football Association and we look forward to working closely with F.A. to improve the standards on and off the pitch for young people who enjoy the game of football.”
