Go Football
The Go Football programme begins again after the Easter period.
What is our Go Football programme about?
Go football is Bolsover District Council's popular football in the community programme. UEFA and FA licensed coaches run courses in 10 week blocks at soccer camps across the district throughout the year. Our experienced staff ensure that the weekly sessions are delivered in a fun yet challenging wayand our strong links with Chesterfield FC means that our most promising players can graduate to the 'Spireites' centre of excellence or alternatively be referred to local 'charter standard' junior clubs. All participants who complete our courses will receive a special certificate together with trophies awarded for outstanding achievement and fairplay.
The Start coaching sessions
Introduce boys and girls to the fundamentals of the game. Emphasis is on fun and enjoyment whilst providing a solid set of foundation skills necessary for young footballers who are learning the basics of the game.
The Performance coaching sessions
The focus is on improving passing, dribbling, ball control, heading and shooting skills and developing tactical awareness. The course is suitable for boys and girls aged from 6-14 years who have already learnt the basics of the game. Specialist golakeeping sessions are also available.
