Brazilian Soccer Schools

Futebol de Salao is a fast moving five a-side game of South American origin played on a hard pitch with rebound boards using a specially designed mitre ball that is smaller than a conventional one and filled with foam to reduce its bounce. The ball and unique training methods place great emphasis on touch, ball control and technique, developing creative, skillful and confident young footballers. Brazilian greats such as Pele, Zico, Rivaldo, Rivelino and Ronaldo all developed their talents playing Futebol de Salao.

The Council operates 3 Brazilian Soccer Schools covering the Northern, Central and Southern areas of the Bolsover District. Our Soccer Schools run weekly 2 hour sessions over 10 weeks and all particpants who complete the course will receive a special certificate and relevant skills badges.
