The 12-year-old gymnast, from Chellaston and a student at Chellaston Academy, is a member of the Notts Gymnastics Academy and has been selected for the Great Britain Home Nations Development Squad with a ranking for her age of eighth in Great Britain.
Scarlett says: "I am ranked eighth in Great Britain for my age and train 24 hours a week at Notts Gymnastics Academy, attending training sessions throughout the year with the Great Britain Gymnastics Home Nations Development Squad.
"My goals for the year are to maintain my top eight ranking in Great Britain for her my group and remain eligible for contention for Great Britain or England in 2016.
"My competition goals are to continue to improve my skill level and therefore be eligible to compete at the English National Championships in March and British Espoir Championships in December.
"A successful 2016 would result in me competing at the Women's British Championships the following year alongside members of the women's senior GB and Rio squads."
