The 23-year-old, from Chapel-en-le-Frith and a member of the Timperley Lacrosse Club, was selected to represent Scotland at the Women's Lacrosse European Championships, where the team claimed a bronze medal.
Sarah says: "I have been playing lacrosse for the past 12 years and been a member of the senior Scotland Women's Lacrosse squad for the past three years.
"Over the summer I travelled to the Czech Republic to represent Scotland in the European Championships. Despite intense heat and very strong opposition, the team came away with a bronze medal.
"This year I am working towards selection for the Home Internationals in Easter 2016. Squad training takes place monthly in Edinburgh and involves fitness tests, game play and a variety of drills including stick work and agility.
"In between these squad weekends, I train and play for a local lacrosse team, Timperley as well as maintaining my fitness by following the Scotland team's strength and conditioning programme in the gym.
"My ultimate goal is to be selected for the team in the next World Cup, which is to be held in London in 2017."
