The 20-year-old lead climber, from Darley Abbey and a student at Sheffield Hallam University, was the junior British Lead Climbing Champion and fourth in the seniors, as well as the winner of the British Speed Climbing Championships.
Sarah says: "I currently compete internationally in lead climbing for the British team. During the next competition season which will begin in May and finish November I am aiming to compete in two senior internationals, BUCS (British University and College Sport) and the British lead climbing championships in both boulder and lead.
"In the international events I am hoping to make semi-finals which will be a great achievement for me as I am still transitioning from junior events to senior ones.
"For BUCS I am hoping to podium. In the British championships I would like to become British lead climbing champion and make finals in the bouldering as this is not my main discipline.
"My current training schedule involves three strength and conditioning sessions in the gym a week, I also have two climbing specific sessions at the climbing wall. Alongside this I have one day climbing outdoors if the weather is good, just for fun.
"Climbing outdoors is a big part of the sport which complements my training for competitions. This year I am aiming to lead climb 8b and boulder 7c."
