The 13-year-old Ogston Sailing Club member, from Alfreton, came second in the RS Tera World Championships and was first in the RS Tera Inland Championships and RS Tera Start of Seasons competition, earning him a place on the RYA's RS Tera Squad.
Roscoe says: "This year I am continuing to sail my RS Tera but, due to my age and size, have moved into the larger, more powerful fully battened Pro Sail.
"Due to my results in the 2015 racing season, I have recently accepted a place on the RS Tera Pro National Squad. Over the the winter, the squad has six training weekends at venues all over the country, both sea and inland.
"The training will focus on the development of specific boat handling skills, but also on the improvement of racing tactics. There will be both classroom and on the water sessions.
"In addition, I have also teamed up with a sailor from the Isle of Man, to sail the double handed RS Feva. Together we have a place on the Northern Feva Squad.
"The skills required for sailing a double handed boat are slightly different as the boat has three sails, and our sailing partnership is new so there will be lots to learn.
"My season's goals are the RS Feva Nationals at Weymouth in May 2016, the World Championships at Santona, Spain in August 2016 and doing well in other National Ranking Events throughout the year."
"My sporting ambitions are to compete at the Olympics, make a successful transition into new fleets and to compete around the world."
