Active People

Sport England’s Active People Survey is a national sport participation survey of adults (age 16 and over) in England carried out by Ipsos MORI on behalf of Sport England.

The first year of the survey (Active People Survey 1) was completed between mid October 2005 and mid October 2006, Active People Survey 2 was undertaken between mid October 2007 and mid October 2008, Active People Survey 3 was completed between October 2008 to October 2009, and Active People Survey 4 was completed between October 2009 to October 2010.

Below is an initial analysis of the Active People Survey 4 results of the various indicators by CSP area, County Council, Derby UA and 2nd tier LA areas.
