Simmondley Primary School were the champions at the Derbyshire County Kwik Cricket Finals.
The boys’ county final saw Glossop’s Simmondley Primary School play Old Hall Junior School from Chesterfield.
It was a great game, with Simmondley batting first. The team finished on 249 runs losing only two wickets.
Old Hall managed to equal Simmondley’s score but lost five wickets, which meant Simmondley were County Champions.
It was an entertaining game of cricket and played in great spirit.
