Representatives from the Highfields Sports Leadership Academy have attended a royal garden party at Buckingham Palace after the Academy received The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

Almost 49,000 young people in the East Midlands who don’t normally play sport outside of school lessons have made a change and completed ten-week sports courses in their own time, according to new figures released by Sport England.
