Youth Adventure Project in the Peak

Young people across the Peak District are being encouraged to discover their adventurous side, with a new Adventure Sport project.

The Sheffield Adventure Film Festival (ShAFF) is offering schools, community groups, youth groups, film clubs and others the chance to preview their package of adventure sport films, in the run up to the main ShAFF festival (March 12-14).

The collection of short films is aimed at young people and families, and includes skiing, mountain biking, climbing and other adrenaline sports.

Once involved in the project, young people can also take part in a series of adventure sports days and events, taking place across the Peak District throughout the spring and summer.

The package of films is available on DVD, which can be sent out schools, youth groups or film clubs.
