Nominations sought for Golf Foundation President's Awards

Nominations are currently being sought for the Golf Foundation President's Awards, which aim to recognise those working to develop grassroots junior golf.

Later this year eight awards will be presented to individuals, organisations and projects which have made a major contribution to the development of the game amongst children and young people.

Categories include The Gallacher Award, which will be presented to a volunteer who has made a direct and significant impact in the development of grassroots junior golf.

Awards will also be presented to a school or school sport partnership that has established or developed a junior golf development project for its pupils, and to a project that has demonstrated how golf can be used to promote positive life messages to children and young people.
