A group of 12 junior players from the club will showcase their football skills ahead of kick-off at the England U18 V Republic of Ireland U18 football match at Burton Albion Football Club on April 30.

The Hilton Disability Football Club was set up in November with support from Derby County Football in the Community, South Derbyshire District Council Sport Development and South Derbyshire School Sport Partnership, who were able to provide a grant through Sports Unlimited, and the school sport partnership has now presented a Nike football kit to the young players with their names and numbers on in the Hilton Harriers colours ready for the international match.

A crowd in excess of 2,000 people are expected to attend the England U18 V Republic of Ireland U18 match, which is being organised by the Burton and District Schools FA.

Coaches supporting the disability football sessions, which are held at Etwall Leisure Centre, are Pete Collins and Nat James from Derby County Football in the Community, and Alex McInerney, Josh Toon, Lewis Gardner and Tom Harlow and Andy Miles from Hilton Harriers FC.
