Derbyshire to celebrate National Inclusive Fitness Week

24 April 2009

Events will once again be taking place in Derbyshire as part of National Inclusive Fitness Week, which this year will be held from May 11 to 17.

The week aims to unite fitness facilities across the country in providing people with the opportunity to experience new activities and to understand that exercise really can and should be for all.

Both Derby College and Chesterfield College are planning free membership and inductions for a month, and are working with local organisations to introduce new members to the facilities.

For more details about what is available at Derby College contact Steve Powell on 01332 520372 or steve.powell@derby-college.ac.uk  For Chesterfield College contact Karl Smith on 01246 500579 or email smithKa@chesterfield.ac.uk

Meanwhile Buxton Community School is also planning free membership and inductions during National Inclusive Fitness Week and in addition be staging two walks for health and a boccia taster session.
