Derby College student Jake Beardsley was crowned East Midlands Collegiate Golf Champion at Morley Hayes Golf and Leisure complex. Beardsley returned a solid round of 73 over the demanding par 72 championship course at Morley Hayes to finish 2 shots ahead of Derby College team mate Nico Pickard and the rest of the 50 strong field of competitors from colleges around the East Midlands.
