Another gold for Glossop Judo Club's Eric Ham

Glossop Judo Club’s Eric Ham finished his 2008 foreign adventure last weekend over in Den Helder The Netherlands.

In his tenth and final competition abroad this year Eric added yet another medal to his growing collection by finishing in first place in this strong international competition.

Many of the strongest Dutch children were in attendance along with competitors from Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, France and Denmark.

Eric won all four of his fights with relative ease bringing back another Gold Medal to the Glossop club.

In all competitions abroad this year Eric has won four gold, three silver and one bronze medal as well as one fourth and one fifth place finish. In never finishing outside the top five, and competing against many of Europe’s top fighters, 2008 has been Eric’s most successful year to date.
