Liz Godfree of Derwent Valley Orienteers has won a Gold Medal in the W60 Class Sprint Race at the World Masters Orienteering Championships in Portugal.
Liz (pictured) completed the 1.4km course through a mixture of forest and urban terrain in Praia da Vieira in 13.22 minutes to become World Champion.
Just 16 seconds behind her was fellow Brit Sue Hands from Wimbourne.
