Funding officer joins Derbyshire Sport

Rachel Scott, who has experience of working within the private sector as a Sports Consultant, took up her post in November.

She will be working hard to increase the amount of funding coming into sport in Derbyshire, and will also provide grant application advice to sports partners in the county.

Rachel has more than 12 years experience in sports development as a Community Sports Development Officer and a Sports Specific Development Officer in rugby.

She has also competed in sport at an elite level, winning gold medals at the British and European Indoor Rowing Championships.
