The initiative is designed to bring together all Inclusive Fitness Facilities to provide an even greater focus on activities for disabled people, with events and activities being held across Derbyshire and beyond.
During the week free regional information days will be held throughout the East Midlands, for anyone who is interested in finding out more about the Inclusive Fitness Initiative.
These will include the chance to hear case studies from people who have benefited from IFI, and to gain a better understanding of the initiative.
Derbyshire’s information day will be staged at Derby College on April 29. For more details and to book click here (opens in a new window).
During the week Derby College will also be offering free inductions and two free sessions at its fitness centre, and will host a free ‘have a go’ session in its sports hall on April 30, from 1pm until 3pm.
