Star:track athletics scheme comes to Derbyshire
An athletics scheme which gives children the chance to try running, jumping and throwing in different fun athletics events is coming to Derbyshire next month.
Star:track is for 8 to 14-year-olds, and is organised and coached by qualified and insured UK Athletics coaches.
There will be competitions as well as the chance to improve technique, and all abilities are welcome.
The two-day scheme will run on Monday, April 7 and Tuesday, April 8, from 10am to 3.30pm at Rutland Sports Park Athletics Track, Ilkeston.
The scheme will cost £17 per child, and includes a Star:track goody pack containing a T-shirt, Kit bag and other goodies.
To register on the scheme you will need to fill in an application form, which is available from Rutland Sports Park , your school or by contacting Stephen Moore smoore@englandathletics.org
