The 21-year-old, from Elmton and a casual leisure attendant for Bolsover District Council, has attended England Performance Training and represented England at the Para-badminton World Championships.
Mark says: "I train at a performance centre in Sheffield every Monday, have club training every other Tuesday, play Wednesday and have started one-to-one coaching every Friday and club training every other Saturday,
"On top of that, I also attend and work in a gym, which enables me to train two to three times a week on top of the badminton, depending on shifts at work.
"I have my first tournament in February next year so will be training hard over the winter months getting my fitness up.
Every year there are Four Nations tournaments held by each of the four nations, with the first one in Scotland and others later in the year, while I will also have the European Tournament held in Holland this year, then other international tournaments later in the year.
"My aim is to be getting to the quarter-finals in the Four Nations this year and keep my consistency in the internationals."
