North Derbyshire Disability Sports Network

The North Derbyshire Disability Sport Network develops sporting opportunities for disabled people in the districts of Bolsover, Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire.

Members of the group include:

Disabled sports people
Parents/Carers
Sport Development Officers
Fairplay
Schools/Colleges
Local clubs
Primary Care Trusts

An aim of the group will be to influence the mainstream sports agenda and ensure that local providers deliver integrated and inclusive sports and physical activities.

The groups first successful funding award was £5,000 to develop Boccia in the three local authority areas of Bolsover, Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire. Watch this website for developments.
