Lewis Richardson

15-year-old Taekwondo player Lewis, who lives in Swadlincote and attends The William Allitt School, has represented England both individually and at team events. He won two World Champion titles at the UITF Taekwondo World Championships, and another two titles at the WKU Kickboxing World Championships where he also won a bronze medal. He competed at the WKU Kickboxing European Championships, winning gold in individual events.

Lewis says: "I have had a successful 12 months. This year I have won two BLCC national titles and also won Gold at the MWTA British Taekwondo Championships. I will be training for a place on the England boys team for the UITF Taekwondo World Championships being held in Argentina. I am also training for a place in the England Kickboxing team for their World Championships being held in Ireland and the Europeans being held in Germany."
