Junior Team of the Year

Junior Team of the Year were MI Racing.

There were some outstanding entries in the Junior Team of the Year category, but it was cycling's MI Racing Academy who won the award, after taking first place in the Jewson Team League and riders having won 62 individual races and secured 83 podiums.

Also making the final three were Amber Valley's Denby Cricket Club under-13s, who have lost just one game in two seasons - a national cup fixture at York Cricket Club - and High Peak's Buxton Athletic Junior Fell Runners, who finished in sixth place in the English Fell Championships.

Buxton's club coach Rachel Dowle said: "I'm so very proud of the kids who have worked so hard and travelled all over the country to compete on some extremely difficult terrain in some of the most beautiful parts of the country.

"They have just been so resilient and supportive of each other through some really difficult races. They train four times a week and go above and beyond what is asked of them."
