Joseph Hazeldine.

Joseph is a 15-year-old ice player from Ilkeston who plays for the Nottingham Ice Hockey Club and is a student at the Kirk Hallam Community Academy. He has played for the Midlands Under-15 Conference Team, successfully made the England Under-15 team for the second year running and also helped the Great Britain Under-16s win a silver medal in an international tournament in Spain.

Joseph says: "I represented Great Britain Under-16s, travelling to Madrid in March 2016. Alongside that, I played for the Midlands Under-15 Conference Team - which saw them attend an international trip to Helsinki in Finland - along with representing the Under-15s England National Team visiting Fussen in Germany.

"The Midlands lost on penalty shoot out at the main tournament in May 2016 at Sheffield resulting in a silver medal. I am currently trialling for the GB Under-16s and GB Under-18s.

"I have played for Nottingham Ice Hockey Club since being five years old and am currently playing for under-18 and under-20 Nottingham Cougars. I hope to play ice Hockey for a career in the not too distant future."
