‘INSPIRE 2 ACHIEVE’ SPORTS COORDINATOR
3 Days (22.2 Hours per week)
Scale 6: £21,412 - £22,845 pro rata (pay award pending)
3 Year Fixed Term Contract
Manor ( Mansfield) School Sport Partnership is seeking to appoint an ‘Inspire 2 Achieve’ Sports Coordinator who has a good standard of education and experience of working in a school or community environment (PE or sport related). You should have a sound knowledge of the National PE & Sport Strategy for Young People, understand the need to work in partnership with key organisations and above all, have a passion and enthusiasm to ‘inspire’ young disabled people to achieve their sporting ambitions!
The post holder will be accountable to the Partnership Development Manager and will coordinate and deliver the ‘Inspire 2 Achieve’ project across all schools in Mansfield.
You will also need to demonstrate:
·The ability to work on your own initiative;
·Excellent organisational, communication and planning skills;
·The ability to inspire others, lead by example, motivate and above all, be able to encourage others to do the same!
A full driving licence and access to a car will be a requirement for this post.
