The role : To further develop, secure funding for and deliver projects for healthier lifestyles; initially focussing on football with young people.
The person : A highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with experience in community capacity building and a background in sport and health.

The post-holder will work predominantly on a project known as ‘Football Families’, a community development project promoting and delivering activities for healthier lifestyles within disadvantaged communities. ‘Football Families’ uses the popularity of football to attract and encourage young people and their families who would not normally participate in physical activities, to participate in and/or assist with the delivery of football / physical exercise and healthier lifestyles sessions - in each area on a weekly basis. Coaching and training is an integral part of this project and it is essential that any applicant has clear skills, qualifications and experience in this area.
