The Council is looking to employ two contracted staff: a mobile play activity leader and assistant to operate its mobile skate park, climbing wall and other play activities over three years across Erewash. The deliver will include a variety of mobile sports activities as well as mobile arts activities including dance, DJ'ing and VJ'ing etc....
Are you highly motivated, have an outgoing personality and enjoy working with 5-19yr olds? If so we are looking for the following staff:
Mobile Play Activities leader – MW6 - £13,062 per year pro rata (18.5 hours per week)
·To develop and implement a mobile play programme across Erewash, candidates should ideally have some experience of leading a team of staff.
Mobile Play Activities Assistant – MW4 - £12,291 per year pro rata (15 hours per week)
·To assist in the development and implemen tation of a mobile play programme across Erewash
The posts require experience of working with a wide range of children and young people (including those with additional needs) and an understanding of play, child development and working within diverse communities. The posts will involve evening and weekend delivery as well as working during holiday periods.
All candidates will be required to undertake an acceptable Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check and register on the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) Scheme when implemented (approximately Oct 2008).
The mobile activities programme is a Big Lottery funded initiative to provide increased open play opportunities and activities for young people in the Erewash area.
