400m hurdler Jessica, from Denby Village, won silver in the British Championships and Olympic Trials. The 21-year-old Amber Valley and Erewash Athletic Club athlete, who is also on the Derbyshire Institute of Sport programme, finished third at the European Athletic Festival.
Jessica says: "ICON has really supported me over the years helping me achieve my best in my sport. To get quality races I have to compete abroad a lot and this can be quite expensive, so it is really great that the bursary can help me pay for high quality races and to be able to travel across Europe for competitions and training camps.
"The leisure pass is such a valuable asset for me to have as I can use the gym and swimming facilities close to home and have found it extremely useful during my injury phase last year as most of my sessions were pool based.
"My aims and goals for this upcoming winter is to be able to have a solid training season injury free, and to improve my PB in the 400m hurdles and 400m.
"I aim to be selected for Great Britain in the Under-23 European Championships held in Poland and be a potential finalist and medalist. I also aim to medal again at the senior British Championships and work my way through the rankings.
"I am extremely committed and dedicated to my athletics and am very grateful for the ongoing support ICON has given me to develop me into a better athlete."
