The 14-year-old, from Glossop, is a student at St Philip Howard Catholic School and a member of Glossop Judo Club. She won a silver medal at the British Championships and competed at the European Championships as part of the Great Britain team after achieving two European Cup medals.
Jamie-Leigh says: "I currently train twice a week at my local club and once a month at the main club of the North West area.
"The England Squad, which I have been part of for three years, regularly run a training day as well as training camps for the England Talent Development Squad, which I was selected for this year.
"My goals for the next few years would be to continue competing and medalling abroad as part of Team Great Britain in European cups, Championships and also the World Championships and European Youth Olympics.
"In the future, my ambitions would be to compete in many World Cups and the Olympics."
