Imogen Clark

Imogen is a 17-year-old swimmer from Morton who won three medals at the British Summer Championships, including gold in the 50m breaststroke (women's 17 to 18 years) and also set a British senior record at the ASA's National Winter Meet for 50m breaststroke short course.

Imogen says: "My goals for next season include continuing to reduce my drop off time between my first and second 50 in the 100 Breaststroke discipline and achieve a 1.07-1.08, concentrating on starts and turns to gain incremental seconds within the race, and using strength and conditioning to improve power within my stroke rate and continuing to maintain stroke rates throughout the race.

"Being awarded World Class Podium potential for 2016/2017 season has given me added drive to succeed to full world class status, to represent GB at the Commonwealth Games and convert to Olympic selection for Tokyo 2020."
