Finances are often a big challenge, so to make sure your club or group are managing them effectively.

You should think about planning for income and expenditure, expanding how the club brings in money and trying to save money in different areas.

Budgeting and generating income

Online modules are quick and easy to complete.

Club Matters provides resources and support on budgeting, generating income and managing costs.

They also provide online modules that take 30 minutes to complete on the following:

  • VAT and Sports Clubs – how the system works and what a club's obligations are.
  • Simpler Finance – covers the basics of accounts.
  • Budgeting, Get on Track, Stay on Track – outlines the process of setting a budget.
  • Get your Cash Flowing – helps you to manage your club's cash flow and costs.
